July 27, 2017 – Canton, OH –– As an industry leader delivering mission-critical technology for courts, public attorneys, and supervision officials, equivant announced today that the Hocking County Clerk of Courts and Common Pleas Court in Logan, Ohio went live with hosted CourtView Case Management including online access to public records, document management, and online payments.
The hosted CourtView CMS lets Hocking County tailor parameters, code tables, and security settings for their unique preferences and court procedures. The software adapts to the county’s business and technology practices which improves efficiency across all aspects of the court.
In addition to the CMS, Hocking County can now store and retrieve all electronic media associated with a case including documents, email, images, video, audio, and more, in a centralized location using intelligent document management. With online public access the county can meet the public’s desire for more immediate information through electronic access from anywhere. Also included in the solution is online payments to accelerate receipts and pay-outs, improving case flow, lessening foot traffic at the court and freeing up clerk staff who would otherwise be needed at the counter.
“The dedication and effort of Hocking County’s staff resulted in an on time go live,” says Jeffrey Harmon, General Manager of equivant. “Their new solution will form a solid information management foundation for the court.”
