Is Your Court Component Ready?
CCM pioneers on the Joint Technology Committee and at NCSC and IJIS define components as independent technology solutions that accomplish a specific function while connecting to a larger system of components that together power the business of your court. In the CCM, components have a few universal characteristics:
- They use open data standards. Integration standards are defined by the industry through collaboration among industry advisors, the courts, technology suppliers, and data-sharing bodies, and all component solutions can “talk” to each other.

- They’re configurable. Components are configurable enough that customization is rarely necessary, which brings the price point down.
- They’re nimble. When each function in your system is a separate component, changes are more manageable, allowing each supplier to add new functionality or modify existing functionality with greater agility.
