equivant Focus: Stuart plays a critical role in the success of equivant by providing leadership, direction, and strategic guidance. He is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of equivant. He also works closely with other leadership to ensure that all departments are working together effectively.

What’s been your favorite part of working at equivant so far? Our Customers. I’ve been working diligently to meet and interact with as many as I can, and learn about their daily challenges, upcoming projects and wish lists.  It’s gratifying to watch a Judge work with our Judicial Tools and learn about a feature that makes her life easier and at the same time, hear directly from Clerks what we, as a business, need to do to further improve our products and services.

What’s your favorite candy? It used to be Smarties (a UK/Canadian candy), but then I went full-on plant based. The truth is I’m no longer much of a candy eater.  I also discovered that carnauba wax is used to coat Smarties—the same wax used in many brands of car polish!

What are some of your hobbies? Cooking, running and guitar.

What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to? That’s a hard one because I’ve traveled the world extensively. Toss up between Singapore, Turkey (Istanbul) and Madrid.

What’s your favorite season and why?  After living in California for 7 years, I started missing “Seasons.” Love them all as each offers something new and different!

What’s your favorite book or podcast?  Schindler’s Ark by Thomas Keneally. Title changed to Schindler’s List after the movie was made.
